This possibility has now encouraged the hope that it will enable us to manipulate biological evolution to produce not only better breeds of cattle and plants but even of men as well . इस प्रकार की संभावना उत्पन्न हो जाने के कारण हममें एक नयी आशा जगी है कि हम लोग जोड़-तोड़ से जैविक आनुवंशिकता को परिवर्तित कर सकते हैं तथा न केवल मवेशियों तथा पौधों की उन्नत Zजातियों का विकास कर सकते हैं वरन हम मानव के वंशानुगत गुणों में भी सुधार कर सकते हैं .
